Bluebeam makes complex, multi‑team construction collaboration easier to coordinate and control, helping architects, engineers and contractors move projects faster with fewer errors.

Alignment: Keep every team working from the same construction documents with Bluebeam Studio Projects and Sessions, reducing version chaos and disconnected email threads.
Access: Collaborate on drawings from the office or field using Bluebeam on web and mobile, so markups and reviews continue on desktop, browser, iOS and Android without extra file handling.
Accountability: Track every markup, comment and decision in the Markups List and Studio Session Record, making responsibilities and status clear across disciplines.
Flexibility: Run real‑time or asynchronous reviews in Studio Sessions so architects, engineers, GCs, subs and owners can participate on their schedule without passing PDFs around.
Intelligence: Use AI in Bluebeam Max to summarize RFIs and field reports, compare drawings and surface potential design issues, so teams focus on resolving problems instead of hunting for them.
Arup used industry-standard markup tools to cut design review times by as much as 60% while maintaining quality.
Márkus Engineering used Bluebeam’s integration with Archicad to standardize communication with architects.
Bluebeam helped AECOM manage 100,000 comments across 400 collaborators during design review.
Bluebeam makes it easy to bring every discipline onto the same document. Here’s how to get started.
Studio is Bluebeam’s real-time collaboration environment. To create a Studio Session, navigate to the Studio tab, select “Add > New Session.” Then name the session, add PDFs, set collaborator permissions, and click “OK” to create and upload files.
You can invite teammates and stakeholders to participate in a Studio Session — even if they don’t have Bluebeam. Go to your Session or Project, select “Invite.” Then type or paste their emails. You can customize messages, individual permissions, and more.
Studio Sessions lets collaborators add markups to the same PDF document together in real time. All markup activity is tracked in the Record that conveniently links back to the Session PDFs, and a built-in chat feature aids communication.
