MelBUG meets regularly and encourages collaboration and knowledge sharing for industry professionals in and around Melbourne.
Melbourne is known as Australia’s premier event city, and MelBUG is providing a platform in the region for users to facilitate, share and leverage new workflows with Bluebeam® Revu®.
Led by our committee from AECOM and CPB Contractors, we’re looking to bring together a collaborative industry group to share tips, tricks, workflows and good ideas.
With attendees spanning design, construction, supply chain, along with students, we’ve built a diverse group that encourages an inclusive environment for everyone wherever they are using Revu. Whether a beginner or seasoned Revu expert, there’s always an opportunity to learn something at MelBUG.
As the digital transformation director, Australia and New Zealand at AECOM, noting that Revu covers every point of the construction workflow, Ben was keen to connect this broad user base in an inclusive knowledge-sharing environment, providing a platform to share learnings and maximise workflows. Ben is passionate about bringing together like-minded people in a user group environment, and has also contributed to a successful Revit user group in the past.
As a Senior Structural Engineer with AECOM and a regular and avid user of Revu, Lachlan’s motivation for joining MelBUG has come from seeing the potential within his organisation for using Bluebeam to improve workflows and communication between internal and external teams. Lachlan is a strong believer in community and sees MelBUG as an opportunity to bring together users to create a culture of knowledge sharing for the mutual benefit of its members.
