Curriculum

Day 1 - Getting Started

You come to the course already knowing Revu pretty well. But training is more than being able to simply communicate what you know—you need to be able to communicate so that what you know is understood and retained. Today, you’ll learn how to recognize the basic training needs necessary to execute a successful training. That includes learning how to make use of the resources given to you (guides, presentations, etc.) but you’ll also learn about the various learning styles of students, so you’ll be equipped to help individuals from various backgrounds, learning styles and needs all leave the training with something valuable. In addition, you’ll learn more specifics about the Certification itself, like the delivery of the Bluebeam Certified User exam, as well as an introductory “teach back” to set a benchmark for the final “exam.”

Day 1 - Getting Started

Day 2 - Effective and Engaging Training

Now that you have a sense of your audience and the tools at your disposal, day two dives into the information you’ll use as you need to use those tools to deliver content that resonates with your audience. You’ll learn the specifics around the work that goes into preparing an effective training, including how to configure the technical learning environment, as well as creating a mental space where your learners feel comfortable engaging and exploring. You will also cover how to effectively engage learners—and some strategies around managing learners that aren’t all that engaged.

Day 2 - Effective and Engaging Training

Day 3 - Preparing for the Test

Prepare yourself to take what you’ve learned to deliver a half hour of assigned content to our BCI trainer. This third day will cover the role change management plays in the delivery of any training, as well as the key principles of adult learning. The final classroom day is a chance to prepare, practice and work with our BCI instructor to get your final teach back as polished as possible.
