How do I purchase a fully functional copy of Bluebeam software?

You may purchase the software by contacting your authorized reseller or purchase directly from Bluebeam. To find a reseller near you click here or visit the web store to purchase from Bluebeam.

The evaluation version that you download from the download page is fully functional. However, it is limited to the 30 day trial period. The Registration screen will display toward the end of your trial showing how much time remains. Once the trial expires, you will not be able to create or save a modified file until you have purchased a license.

When you purchase a license, a Serial Number and Product Key will be e-mailed to you that will unlock the software trial and allow for unlimited use.

How do I register my software?

After you purchase the software, you will receive an email containing your License Certificate (the email will come from registration@bluebeam.com). The License Certificate will contain your Serial Number and Product Key.

The next step of the registration process is to authorize the software. This process will register the software to an individual workstation. Complete the online authorization process below if the computer is connected to the Internet, or manually authorize if the computer is offline.

I received an error during the registration. What does it mean?

The following are the two most common errors received during the registration process. The information below will help you to resolve the error.

An error in the registration part of the installation does not mean that the installation has failed. Just click Use as Trial or Cancel and allow the installation to complete. You do not need to reinstall the software to resolve the registration problem.

    Could not be validated.

This error means that you are either entering the codes incorrectly or you are entering codes for the wrong version of software. Your serial number and product key are only valid for the version of software listed on your license certificate.

    Check the version number.

    1. Click Start, point to Programs, then Bluebeam Software.
    2. Click Bluebeam Administrator.
    3. On the Help menu, click About.
    4. The three digit version number is in the upper left of the window. Example: 3.0.0.
    5. Compare this version to the one displayed on your license certificate.

    Number has been exceeded.

This error means that the number of licenses has been exceeded and that you need to reduce the number by uninstalling on another computer.

Click here to contact Bluebeam support if you continue to have a problem completing the registration. Please include your serial number in your email.
