InstallShield Silent Setup
Silent Setup packages a setup.exe with an InstallShield Silent response file (.iss) to activate an automated installation. Performed through a command line, the silent option is activated by adding the /s parameter to the script. Command lines can be added to a log-on script and run when the workstation is logged on, or deployed remotely from the server.

MSI Deployment Package
The MSI Deploy package uses Microsoft’s Windows Installer framework to execute installation using the Msiexec Utility. Parameters can be configured through an MSI editor such as Orca and run with a network deployment vehicle such as Group Policy or Windows SMS.
