Ask the Expert

Can I create my own set of custom markups and save them in Revu?

The answer is yes, and it is easier than you may think. Not only can you create your own toolsets to be stored in your Tool Chest but you can share these with other users as well. The Tool Chest is a great way to standardize Markups within your organization.

Add Markups to your Tool Chest by simply clicking and dragging them from “Recent Tools” into “My Tools”. Perhaps you frequently add text boxes as part of your Markup process and you would like to save the text box with same the font style, color and fill color for re-use later. Add this Markup from Recent Tools into to My Tools and then double click on the added icon. Watch as the icon changes from “Drawing Mode” to “Properties Mode”, allowing you to re-use the text box with the same properties but without the text.

Place the Text box anywhere on the PDF you are working on. You can now begin to type your new message into the box, retaining all of the same settings.
