The Bluebeam Insider, formerly the Bluebeam Buzz, is a monthly announcement for software updates.
Bluebeam continues to make PDF markup easier. We've added new Tool Sets and Text Stamps on our Resources page that
you can easily download and import into your session of Bluebeam Revu. Don't forget our PDF and video tutorials,
Quick Tips for Office and AutoCAD users, and a link to our User Guide.
Access the Resources page here
Bluebeam Revu allows you to easily save your customized annotations and access them every time you open Revu. To
save an annotation, simply select it on the PDF with your cursor, right click and select Add to My Tools. This
annotation, along with its customized properties, will be readily available in your Tool Chest every time you use
Revu. To access your Tool Chest, click "Alt"+"X" or go to View > Tabs > Tool Chest.
Did you know that you can quickly compare PDF drawings with Bluebeam? Version 5.0.1 includes the ability to compare two
similar drawings and automatically highlight the differences using cloud annotations. Here's how:
- In Revu, go to the Document Menu and select Compare Documents
- Select your Original and Comparison drawing, and the page ranges to
compare. By default, the differences between the two drawings will
be displayed on a copy of the Comparison drawing.
- Click OK
Revu will show a split-screen, synchronized mode. One side will display your original document, and the other side will
display a copy of your comparison document, with cloud annotations over the areas that are different.
The Compare Drawing feature requires Bluebeam PDF Revu v. 5.0.1. You can download this latest version here from one
of the following links:

Thank you to everyone who visited us at the AIIM Expo in Boston and AIA Convention in San Antonio and made these shows
a big success for Bluebeam. We always love meeting our customers, so if you're heading to the CSI Show in Baltimore, June
20-22, make sure to stop by and see us in booth #2016.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
