The Bluebeam Insider, formerly the Bluebeam Buzz, is a monthly announcement for software updates.
Bluebeam's website has a cool, new look! Make sure to check out our new website, especially the revamped Resources page
where you can download and import additional text stamps and toolsets into Bluebeam Revu. You will also find User Guide
excerpts, links to our video tutorials and other helpful information about Bluebeam products.
Access the Resources page here
Bluebeam Batch in AutoCAD and SolidWorks - for CAD Edition Users
The plug-in for AutoCAD and SolidWorks includes Bluebeam Batch, the third button in the Bluebeam toolbar. For best
results, batches of DWG and SolidWorks files should be converted using Bluebeam Batch. Select the batch button to
start the batch wizard, which allows you to convert these files to PDF in 3 easy steps.
Batch Processing with Stapler - for all Bluebeam PDF Revu Users
For all other Windows files, you can batch process using the Stapler, a standalone application in Bluebeam PDF Revu.
Access the Bluebeam Stapler by going to Windows Start > All Programs > Bluebeam Software > Bluebeam Stapler. To batch
convert files with the Stapler, click on the link "Click for Wizard" and follow these easy steps:
- Use the "Add Folder" and "Add Files" buttons to select your native files
- Choose to create one combined output file or one output file for every document
- Select your output folder location
You can now select "Create File" or click OK to review and reorder a list of native files to be converted to PDF (a great
option if you have chosen to create one output file).
Note: Bluebeam PDF Revu v. 5.0.1 is required to use the batch processing functionality in Bluebeam Stapler. You may
download v. 5.0.1 using one of the following direct links:
Version 5.0.1 is available at no additional charge for users with either a v 5 license or annual maintenance. Customers
with a license of Bluebeam v 1-v 4 (without maintenance) may try version 5.0.1 for 30 days and contact Bluebeam at
866-496-2140 x 146 or sales@bluebeam.com for discounted upgrade pricing.
