In their February edition, Building Design + Construction (BD+C) Magazine said that version 8 is “moving beyond digitizing paper to full project collaboration and management” and “enabling full building information modeling early in design." As a matter of fact, the Bluebeam Rally Team took home 1st place on February 20th at Torparskogsrundan, with Bluebeam CEO Richard Lee riding shotgun for the victory. How’s that for cool?

The Mighty Bluebeam Gets Ready to Make his Swedish Debut
From March 23rd – 26th Bluebeam will join over 850 exhibitors in Stockholm, Sweden for Nordbygg 2010 - Northern Europe’s most important trade show for the construction industry. If you happen to be visiting the land of Ikea and Swedish meatballs, make sure to stop by booth A24:29.
Bluebeam to Present and Exhibit at FIATECH 2010
Bluebeam is heading to Austin, Texas for FIATECH’s annual Technology Conference & Showcase from March 29th – 31st. Keeping in line with this year’s conference theme, Bluebeam’s VP of Engineering will be giving a presentation entitled “Communicating the Critcial Design Elements – 2D & 3D; Which is the ‘Right D’?” on Wednesday, March 31st between 10:45 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
