Challenge
DES Architects and Engineers, the award-winning design and architecture design firm located in Redwood City, California, needed to
quickly and easily communicate a projects requirements to subcontractors. They wanted to forward their contractors a document that
anyone could view even if they did not have CAD software. The file had to be small enough to send via e-mail and post on a website.
Solution
Using Bluebeam Pushbutton PDF, DES quickly created a full size PDF drawing of the project’s requirements. Bluebeam Pushbutton PDF’s
speed and small file size enabled DES to quickly post the PDF on the project contractor’s website so subcontractors could view and
bid on different project jobs. The process was so seamless and effective DES adopted this system for future projects.
