Bluebeam to Share New Ideas For Paperless Workflows at the Monterey Design Conference
Bluebeam executives will discuss case study results during the educational session titled “Three Steps for Implementing a Paperless Workflow.”
Pasadena, CA (September 29, 2009)
In just a few short days, one of the most exciting architectural design conferences of the year will begin. The Monterey Design Conference, hosted by the American Institute of Architects California Chapter, is known as “the ‘Renaissance Weekend’ for architects and the most prestigious and best attended architectural design conference in the United States.” 700 of California’s leading architects are expected to convene at the Asilomar Conference Grounds in Pacific Grove, CA on October 9th – 11th to “watch, think, interact, learn and recharge their creative energies.” For the second straight year, Bluebeam Software, a leading developer of PDF solutions for the architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) industry, will help kickoff the festivities by presenting an educational session on green, paperless business practices and workflows.
On October 9th at 9am, Bluebeam Software CEO Richard Lee and Director of Account Services Sasha Reed will present "Three Steps for Implementing a Paperless Workflow." Attendees will receive 1 AIA/CES learning unit for attending this lively discussion on the challenges that architectural firms face when attempting to go green and reduce paper usage, while simultaneously increasing productivity. The session is deeply-rooted in case studies collected from one-on-one interactions with some of the nation’s leading design and construction firms.
“As a software company that specializes in bringing PDF solutions to the AEC industry, we’ve had a unique opportunity to see firsthand the various challenges that firms have overcome when implementing paperless workflows,” said Sasha Reed. “In this educational session, we’ll share these stories with attendees, and offer step by step guidelines for replicating the incredible results we’ve witnessed, such as an 80% reduction in paper usage or 60% decrease in submittal response time.”
Registration for the Monterey Design Conference, including Bluebeam Software’s session, is open and can be accessed here.
