Unable to Calibrate a Document

 

Summary

Attempting to calibrate a PDF file results in the wrong calibration, or the measuring format displays a different naming convention that expected.

Problem

There may be Viewports within the file that are calibrated to a different scale.

 

In the Measurements tab, check if you have unnamed, untitled, unknown, or randomly named viewports in your Viewports list. These viewports may be have been by-products of the original drawing that were transferred over during creation of the PDF.

 

 

Solution

Delete the existing Viewports. The Clear All button can be used to remove all viewports. Specific viewports can be deleted individually by selecting the viewport namke and clicking the red X. Please note that this may take slightly longer than expected due to the nature of the viewports and reconfiguring the file.
