How To - Convert batches of Windows files to PDF

Bluebeam Batch in AutoCAD and SolidWorks - for CAD Edition Users

The plug-in for AutoCAD and SolidWorks includes Bluebeam Batch, the third button in the Bluebeam toolbar. For best results, batches of DWG and SolidWorks files should be converted using Bluebeam Batch. Select the batch button to start the batch wizard, which allows you to convert these files to PDF in 3 easy steps.

Batch Processing with Stapler - for all Bluebeam PDF Revu Users

For all other Windows files, you can batch process using the Stapler, a standalone application in Bluebeam PDF Revu. Access the Bluebeam Stapler by going to Windows Start > All Programs > Bluebeam Software > Bluebeam Stapler. To batch convert files with the Stapler, click on the link "Click for Wizard" and follow these easy steps:

  1. Use the "Add Folder" and "Add Files" buttons to select your native files

  2. Choose to create one combined output file or one output file for every document

  3. Select your output folder location

You can now select "Create File" or click OK to review and reorder a list of native files to be converted to PDF (a great option if you have chosen to create one output file). Note: Bluebeam PDF Revu 5.0.1 is required to use the batch processing functionality in Bluebeam Stapler. You may download 5.0.1 using one of the following direct links:

Version 5.0.1 is available at no additional charge for users with either a version 5 license or annual maintenance.
